Description: Original mid 19th century wood-cut print from the American Civil War blockade in the British West Indies. The scene is ships making their way at speed into harbor. The blockade happened between 1861-1862. It all was started because the British cotton mills fear that the supplies from the cotton fields in the south would be over run in the early stages of the American Civil War.

Condition: Good.
Some light browning/foxing. Text to the reverse. Fold to middle. Two small binders holes and some creases.
